    Notice for occasional use of track (OUN)

    Use this form to notify occasional use of track for the purpose of betting under section 39 of the Gambling Act 2005.

    This will allow betting to take place on a 'track' for a period of eight days or less in a calendar year, where no premises licence has been issued under the Gambling Act 2005.

    This form consists of 4 pages and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Fields marked with a * are mandatory and require completion. There is no fee for this application.


    Before you start

    The applicant must be the person that is responsible for the administration of events on the track or by an occupier of a track.

    Please ensure you have:

  1. a valid email address to receive a confirmation upon submission of the form.

    Please note: Please ensure that you have read section 37 and 39 (opens in new window) of the Gambling Act 2005.

    Please note: A 'track' does not necessarily have to be a horse racecourse or greyhound track. Other examples of tracks incldue:

  3. a point to point horse race meeting
  4. football, cricket or rugby grounds
  5. athletics stadium
  6. golf course
  7. venues hosting darts, bowls or snooker tournaments
  8. premises staging boxing matches
  9. a section of river hosting a fishing competition, or
  10. a motor racing event.
